How to Add a Header and Footer to a PDF
Headers and footers add professional structure to reports, proposals, and academic papers. Use {n} for the current page number and {total} for the total page count — they're replaced automatically on each page.

Page number variables
Use {n} for the current page number and {total} for the total pages. Examples: "Page {n}", "Page {n} of {total}", "{n}/{total}".
Currently the same header and footer text is applied to all pages. For different text per page, split the PDF first, add headers/footers to each part, then merge them back.
Currently text is rendered in dark grey using Helvetica. Font customisation is on the roadmap.
