The Visual Way to Split — No Page Numbers Required
Most PDF splitting tools ask you to type page ranges like "1-5, 6-12, 13-20". This requires counting pages and is error-prone. PDFZen4u shows you thumbnail previews of every page, and you click the gap between pages to set a split point.
The gap turns red to confirm the split point. You can add as many split points as you need. Click again on an active gap to remove a split point. When you're happy, click Split and each section downloads as its own numbered PDF file.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1. Open the Split PDF tool.
Step 2. Drop your PDF into the upload area. Page thumbnails appear in a horizontal scrollable strip.
Step 3. Scroll through the thumbnails and click the ✂ scissor icon in the gap between any two pages where you want to split. The gap turns red to confirm. Add as many split points as you need.
Step 4. Click Split at Marked Points. Each section between split points downloads as a separate PDF, labelled with its page range (e.g. part_1_pages_1-5.pdf).

Extracting a single page
Place one split point before the page you want, and one after it. Three sections will be created — the page you want plus the sections either side. If you only need one specific page from a document, the Delete Pages tool in Extract mode may be even faster: click the page you want to keep and extract just that one.
Separating batch-processed forms
If a scanner has combined multiple one-page forms into a single PDF, split the document at every page boundary to get individual files.
