By accessing and using PDFZen4u ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using our tools.

By using PDFZen4u, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country), and that you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PDFZen4u provides free, browser-based PDF tools including (but not limited to): merging, splitting, compressing, rotating, watermarking, numbering, organising, cropping, flattening, protecting, unlocking, and converting PDF files. All processing occurs client-side in your browser. No files are uploaded to our servers.

3. Permitted Use

You may use PDFZen4u for personal, commercial, or educational purposes, provided that you:

• Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Only process documents you own or have the legal right to modify
• Do not use the Service to process documents that contain illegal content
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service
• Do not use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service

4. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all documents you process using PDFZen4u. Since files are never uploaded to our servers, we make no claim whatsoever over your content.

PDFZen4u's website design, code, and content are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or distribute PDFZen4u's interface or branding without written permission. The underlying open-source libraries (pdf-lib and PDF.js) are governed by their respective open-source licences (MIT and Apache 2.0).

5. No Warranties

PDFZen4u is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be available without interruption
• The output files will meet your specific requirements
• The Service will be free of bugs or errors

Browser-based PDF processing may have limitations compared to server-side or desktop software. Always keep backups of important documents before processing them.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFZen4u and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service — including but not limited to data loss, document corruption, or business interruption.

Your use of PDFZen4u is at your own risk. We strongly recommend keeping original copies of all documents you process.

7. Advertisements

PDFZen4u is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. By using the Service, you agree to the display of advertisements. You can opt out of personalised ads through Google's ad settings.

PDFZen4u may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.
